This painting is inspired by the October 7, 2023 attack in Israel. Beautifully crafted words, art and philosophies pale in front of this cruel reality: we are not there yet as a species. This painting tries to awaken in every viewer the feeling of guilt and complicity related to all the wars and their victims. A deep introspection related to the animal, territorial and aggressive side that we have and that leaves in future generations a legacy of revenge and death. Far from taking the side of a camp, but rather highlighting the contrast between the brutality of the weapons and the minefield and the children who, instead of playing an instrument, pay for the pride and horrors of their parents. This painting is part of theW.A.R. series and the missing element in this work is the naturalness of things.
